Migration Playbooks

Short, specific briefs on the contract clauses and platform limits that decide whether a finance team stays where it is or moves. Every one of them names a document or a report you can open today, and gives you the arithmetic to do with it.

Four Playbooks, More In Progress

Written From What People Actually Stop and Read

These are not general commentary. Each one started as material we published to an audience of controllers and finance leaders, and the ones that became playbooks are the ones that measurably held attention rather than the ones we liked writing.

The pattern that holds is consistent enough to state plainly. A piece works when it puts a specific number in front of you, points at a document or report you already own, and tells you that the number you have been defending is not the number that matters. A piece does not work when it tells you that you should probably be paying closer attention. The first is news you can check in twenty minutes. The second is advice.

So every playbook here is built to be checkable. If one of them is wrong about your situation, you should be able to prove that from your own contract or your own system in an afternoon, without calling us.

Two Honest Limits

They Are Not Legal or Accounting Advice

They describe common commercial mechanics and published product limits, and they point you at your own documents. Your agreement governs your situation, your auditor governs your records, and neither of them has read this page.

They Are Not Case Studies

Where a playbook prices something out, the figures are labelled worked examples chosen to make the arithmetic legible. Our named client work is published separately as success stories, with the client’s agreement, and that is the only place you will see a real engagement described.

Bring the Document. We Will Do the Arithmetic With You.

A short working session on whatever the playbook sent you looking for. A renewal quote, an order form, a file size, an export. We tell you what it means and what it costs, whether or not a migration is the answer.

No obligation.
