Tailored AI Readiness and Enablement for Finance Leadership
You have been asked for an AI plan. Every vendor deck says the same thing.
None of them is specific to your entity structure, your consolidation, or the way your controllers actually close a month. We start by reading your finance function, then build the readiness assessment, the written policy and the hands-on training around what we find. Leadership gets a defensible position. The team gets something they use the same week.

Where Finance Leadership Actually Gets Stuck
These are the four positions we are usually called into. None of them is solved by buying another tool.
“The board asked for our AI position and we do not have one.”
You need a defensible answer covering what you use, what you forbid, who decided and on what basis. That is a governance document, not a product evaluation.
“We bought licenses and I cannot show anything for them.”
Seats were provisioned, an email went out, and nothing changed in the close or the reporting cycle. It is now a line item nobody can defend at budget time.
“Someone put client data into a chatbot and we found out afterwards.”
The instinct is to ban everything, which pushes usage underground instead of removing the risk. What you need is a policy people will actually follow.
“Our pilot worked and then died.”
One enthusiast automated one report. Nothing spread, because there was no permission structure, no policy and nobody mapped the next ten candidates.
Why A Data Migration Company Is The One Teaching This
We read finance systems for a living
We are not an AI training company. We move accounting systems: 15,000+ migrations across 90+ source platforms, including enterprise multi-entity work. Our working days are spent inside other organizations’ month-end, chart of accounts, tax history and consolidated reporting. When we say training starts from your workflows, it is because reading someone else’s finance stack is the job we already do.
What that also means
We are the wrong call for some things, and we would rather say it here than on an invoice. If you need vendor-certified AI curriculum, a compliance attestation, or a learning and development rollout across thousands of staff, look elsewhere. If you want a finance leadership team with a defensible AI position and a controller group actually using these tools on the close, that is the work we do.
Who This Is For
Organizations that want AI adoption to be practical, governed and tied to real work.
Multi-entity and enterprise finance functions
Groups running consolidation across entities, currencies and ledgers, where a reporting change has to survive audit and intercompany. The gap is almost always between the system of record and the pack that goes to the board.
Accounting and professional services firms
Partners and managers who bill time and need capacity back without adding headcount. The work we target is review, documentation, client correspondence and the reporting that eats junior hours.
Cities, counties and public-sector teams
Teams that need a defensible position on AI use before they need another tool. Public records rules, retention schedules and resident privacy come first, and the training has to respect all three.
Mid-market companies on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
Already paying for the AI features bundled into software you own. The fastest return is usually in capability you have already bought but never turned on.
Experience And Credibility
AI and Microsoft 365 Copilot training for professional audiences
Training delivered for professional services, accounting and public-sector audiences, where the constraints on data handling and documentation are part of the brief rather than an afterthought.
CPA-focused education on AI-enabled finance
Education built for CPAs on AI-enabled finance and reporting topics, pitched at practitioners who have to sign off on the output rather than at a general business audience.
Deep practical background in finance workflows
Hands-on grounding in operations, finance workflows, Excel, reporting and business systems. The training is built by people who have done the work, not only taught it.
Human-centered AI adoption
An approach focused on trust, clarity and real usage. Adoption is a behavior change problem long before it is a technology problem, and the sessions are designed around that.
What We Cover
Six areas. Most engagements use two or three, chosen on the exploratory call rather than sold as a bundle.
AI readiness and strategy
The module most leadership teams start with. Where AI fits your operating model, which risks actually matter for your sector and entity structure, what to fund this quarter, and what to deliberately ignore for the next year.
AI policy, governance and responsible use
A written policy your team will follow and your auditors can read, sized to your organization, with clear guardrails for client, employee and citizen data. Short enough that people read it.
Microsoft 365 Copilot
Hands-on work across Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint, using your own documents rather than sample files. Includes the honest list of what Microsoft 365 Copilot is still bad at.
Google Workspace AI
Gemini and Workspace enablement for teams already operating in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive and Meet. Same approach: your files, your processes.
AI for finance and accounting workflows
Consolidation and reporting, the Excel-after-ERP problem, month-end support, intercompany work, client correspondence and process documentation.
Assistants beyond the big two
If your team already uses ChatGPT, Claude or a workflow-specific assistant, we cover those in place rather than pretending they are not open in another tab.
How An Engagement Runs
Four steps. You approve the scope in writing before anyone books a session.
- 01
Exploratory call
A short call on your structure, your stack and what you are actually trying to fix. No deck. If training is not the right answer, we tell you on this call.
- 02
Workflow and risk review
We look at real artifacts: a board pack, a consolidation workbook, a close checklist. We identify where AI helps, where it does not, and where it introduces risk you have not priced in.
- 03
Training against your work
Sessions run on your documents and your processes. People leave having done something they will use the same week, not having watched a demo.
- 04
Policy and follow-through
A written AI use policy, plus optional office hours while the habits form. Adoption fails in week three, not week one, which is when most training has already ended.
Delivery Formats
Format is a recommendation from the exploratory call, not a package you pick blind.
Executive briefing
60 to 90 minutes for leadership and the board. Where AI fits, what it costs, what to decide now.
Multi-session enablement
Spaced sessions over weeks so practice happens between them, which is the only way adoption sticks across a larger group.
Workflow discovery plus training
We map the workflows first and build the curriculum from what we find. The usual choice for multi-entity finance functions.
Half-day team workshop
One team, one set of workflows, hands on keyboards throughout.
Full-day hands-on training
Deeper coverage across multiple tools and a wider group.
Post-training office hours
Optional standing sessions for the questions that only appear once people start using the tools on live work.
Virtual or on-site
Every format above runs either way, anywhere in the US. Virtual suits executive briefings and multi-session programs. On-site tends to work better for full-day hands-on training and for teams new to these tools.
What We Will Not Do
We will not tell you AI replaces your team
It does not, and leading with that line is the fastest way to guarantee nobody in the room engages with the training.
We will not quote a time saving before we have seen your work
Any number offered before a workflow review is a guess dressed up as a benchmark. We will give you a measured estimate after step two, not before.
We will not put sensitive data where your policy forbids it
Governance is decided before tooling. If you have privacy, records or client-confidentiality obligations, bring them to the exploratory call and they become a constraint on the curriculum.
We will not tell you to switch platforms
If you already pay for Microsoft 365, we train Microsoft 365 Copilot. If you are on Google Workspace, we train Gemini. Changing platforms to chase an AI feature is almost never worth the disruption.
Data, Privacy And Governance
Relevant to every organization on this page, and non-negotiable for the public-sector and audited ones.
We work in your tenant
Where training touches live material, we work inside your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenant and your environment, so your data stays under controls you already own and audit.
Your rules are the starting constraint
We do not arrive with a template policy and ask you to adopt it. We start from your existing privacy, records-retention and client-confidentiality obligations, and from any state-level requirements that apply to you. If you do not yet have an AI use policy, drafting one is part of the engagement rather than a prerequisite for it.
Frequently Asked
The board wants an AI position. Can you produce that without a full training program?
Yes. The readiness and strategy module plus the written policy is a standalone engagement, usually an executive briefing and a policy draft. Plenty of clients stop there for a quarter and come back for the hands-on work once the governance is agreed.
How much does it cost?
It depends on format and scope, and we quote after the exploratory call. A half-day workshop for eight people and a multi-session program for sixty are not comparable, so a public price list would be a fiction. You will get a fixed-scope quote in writing, not an hourly estimate that drifts.
We run several entities on different systems. Does that change the training?
It changes the workflow review substantially, which is the point of doing it first. Consolidation, intercompany and multi-ledger reporting are where the manual effort concentrates in a group structure, and they are also where a careless AI shortcut does the most damage. We map them before we teach anything.
Do we need to choose Microsoft or Google first?
No. We train whichever you already pay for. If you run both, which is common after an acquisition, we cover both and flag the places where two overlapping stacks cost you more than the AI returns.
Can you train on ChatGPT or Claude instead?
Yes. Those tools are usually already in use whether or not they are approved, so covering them openly is safer than ignoring them. Governance for general-purpose assistants gets more attention than it does for Microsoft 365 Copilot or Gemini, because the data boundaries are less obvious.
Will you use our real client data in the training?
Only within the limits you set, and only in your environment. Many engagements use anonymized or internal material for the hands-on portion instead. This is decided in writing before any session runs.
Do you provide CPE or CPD credits?
Every governing body sets its own rules, so the answer varies by state and by body. We provide a confirmation of participation letter setting out the content, duration and date, which you submit to your board of accountancy or professional body. In many cases it counts toward your requirement. We will not tell you it is guaranteed, because that is your regulator’s decision rather than ours.
Is this delivered remotely or in person?
Either, anywhere in the US. Remote works well for executive briefings and multi-session programs. In-person tends to be better for full-day hands-on training, particularly for teams that have not used these tools before.
We are already mid-migration with you. Should we do this now or after?
After go-live, in almost every case. During a migration your team is already absorbing a new system, and adding a second learning curve reduces retention of both. The exception is the governance module, which is worth doing early because it shapes how people handle data in the new system from day one.
Book An Exploratory Call
A short call on your structure, your stack and your AI goals. We will recommend the format and content that will deliver the fastest practical value, and if training is not the right answer for where you are, we will tell you on the call.
